Our purpose as a non-profit corporation is to provide educational development opportunities for eligible students. By law we have no political, religious or other advocacy agenda—only educational.
Our interests and expertise are in Travel, Business, Performing Arts and Fine Arts, and Educational Development Resources.

TRAVEL ADVENTURE EVENTS

We create educational development opportunities in the context of travel experiences. Travel itself is educational. Our combination of travel and educational expertise combines remote locations with a learning environment to impact each student. We encourage individuals to undertake responsibilities while traveling as a natural opportunity to develop leadership skills, for example creating, scripting and videotaping their own documentary film.

Our student Travel Adventure Events are funded through a combination of student fund-raising, 501(C)(3) tax-exempted sponsorships, and CKK financial assistance.

The preparation process consists of forming a destination Interest Group; then qualifying the participants and their program preferences; financing the event through a combination of funding strategies; appointing travel leadership; and making travel arrangements.All participants must comply with the State of California non-profit incorporation regulations and CKK program requirements.

BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION

We believe that kids at all levels who have demonstrated interest in business would greatly benefit from quality experiences in the business environment. Although regular school programs provide business academic training, real world situations are limited for some due to lack of resources or knowledge about their options. The world of business is incredibly diverse, and focused exposure to specific business situations would provide important perspectives and alternatives for high potential kids who are evaluating their career options. This extra attention will help to develop outstanding California business professionals in the future.

PERFORMING ARTS AND FINE ARTS

We believe that kids at all levels who have demonstrated interest in the Arts would greatly benefit from quality experiences in the artistic environment. Although regular school programs provide art academic training, real world situations are limited for some due to lack of resources or knowledge about their options. The world of art is incredibly diverse, and focused exposure to specific art opportunities would provide important perspectives and alternatives for high potential performers and artists who are evaluating their career options. This extra attention will help to develop outstanding California performers and artists in the future.

EDUCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT RESOURCES

We support Individual Uncommon Talent, Career Development, and Individual Resources in specific circumstances where our policies and resources may coincide with unique opportunities for California kids to achieve a goal that might be otherwise beyond their reach. We see particular merit in mathematics and science, information technology, inter-cultural diversity, top-tier athletics and career mentoring. We believe that those students who are appropriately identified and supported are likely to become future California leaders.
